Marebo Tax Boutique Limited is incorporated and licensed in the United Arab Emirates. It is not established in Spain or in any European Union member state. Because it offers services to clients with tax interests in Spain, it applies the EU General Data Protection Regulation to the personal data of users resident in the European Economic Area, alongside UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Nature of our services
Marebo Tax Boutique provides tax advisory services. Both the information published on this site and the services engaged through it are of that nature.
Two limits are worth stating plainly:
- Providing tax advice does not constitute the practice of law in Spain. It does not include legal representation or defence before Spanish courts. Where a matter requires those services, we will say so and can refer you to a professional qualified to act.
- References on this site to “tax lawyers” or a “tax lawyer”, and to the legal education or professional background of our team, describe academic qualifications and professional experience in tax law, not an authorisation to appear in Spanish court proceedings.
Nature of the published content
The content of this site, including blog articles, is general information. It is not personalised tax advice and cannot replace it. Tax rules change often and their application depends on each taxpayer’s circumstances, so no decision with tax consequences should rest on what is published here alone.

Governing law and jurisdiction
Use of this site and the services engaged through it are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Where the user is a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, that choice does not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, under Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).
As to jurisdiction, consumers resident in the European Union may in any event bring proceedings before the courts of the place where they are domiciled, under Article 18(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, a right that cannot be excluded by agreement in the terms of Article 19 of that Regulation.
Where the user or client acts for business or professional purposes, the parties submit to the laws and courts of the United Arab Emirates.
